Résumé :

Resonance phenomena may occur at the scale of the entire earth, at the scale of an alluvial basin or for a single building. For strong seismic events, mechanical nonlinearities are also involved at these various scales. In the seminar, we shall investigate seismic waves in alluvial basins through time-frequency processing and accelerated BEM modeling of surface waves. Dynamic soil-foundation-structure interaction will then be discussed at the local scale (nonlinear macroelement approach) and global scale (homogenization method and site-city interaction). Finally, recent developments on the mechanical and numerical analysis of enriched global structural models will be presented.
