le 17 mars 2015

The workshop is organised by École Normale Supérieur de Cachan (ENS-Cachan), supported by Ecole Française du Béton. It is dedicated to the problems of early-age cracking in massive concrete structures.
The aim of the workshop is to establish an international forum of experts and promote discussion as well as exchange of knowledge in the domain of early-age behaviour of concrete structures.

Topics of the workshop:
  • Phenomena in early-age concrete;
  • Thermal properties and heat generation;
  • Mechanical properties of early-age concrete;
  • Mixture proportioning for optimised early-age behaviour;
  • Curing, temperature control and construction phasing;
  • Numerical modelling of early-age concrete structures;
  • Cracking risk assessment;
  • In-situ quality control;
  • Practical methods for analysis of early-age concrete structures;
