CIGOS 2017 - New Challenges in Civil Engineering

The Fourth International Conference on Geotechnics, Buildings and Structures will be co-organized by the ENS Paris-Saclay.

The 4th international  conference CIGOS 2017 will take place at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Vietnam, on 26-27th October 2017 with the theme "New Challenges in Civil Engineering".

The conference is co-organized by the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay (ENS Paris-Saclay), the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP), the Association of Civil Engineering, Mechanics and Materials (GCMM) and the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE), with the support of the French Civil Engineering Association (AFGC).

The last three editions of the CIGOS conference were particularly successful with more than 150 presenters and participants from many countries. Each CIGOS conference is an excellent opportunity for institutes, companies and universities to meet each other and exchange ideas. It aims to promote beneficial economic partnership and technology exchanges between enterprises as well as the cooperation in higher education and research. Authors are invited to submit high-quality original research for presentation at CIGOS 2017 and the conference Proceedings is expected to be indexed in the most well-known databases. Suggested areas for submissions include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Advanced modeling of structures (AMS)
  • Materials for construction (MFC)
  • Innovation design methods (IDM)
  • Geotechnics for environment and energy (GEE)
  • Water treatment and environment (WTE)
  • Case studies (Tunnel, Nuclear Power Plant, etc.) (CST)
